  • Burst Reference Software (“BRS”) 2.4.2 Released
    The Burst Apps Team have released BRS 2.4.2 to their GitHub, and QBundle has also been updated. This update fixes a cosmetic issue with encoding of account names in the API response, and has other small improvements. Please upgrade today!
  • Burst Apps Team presents at DevCamp 2019 in São Paulo, Brazil
    Burst Apps Team members ohager and blankey1337 presented their talk “How to build a cross-platform cryptocurrency application last Friday in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. Their 45-minute presentation covered topics including blockchain basics, Proof of Capacity, cross-platform architectures, npm library development lessons learned, distributed vs. traditional client-server architectures, building and sending transactions, and smart contracts. They finished by running and deploying a smart contract to the TestNet blockchain.
  • Phoenix Mobile Development Continues
    Although the two main developers of Phoenix were busy presenting last week, a quick peek at the Phoenix repository shows that Titanishu has been chipping away at the UI for the Phoenix Mobile application, and blankey1337 has been getting input on some designs for the Send BURST page:

  • 2019 Burst Summer Hackathon ends August 31!
    The Burst 2019 Summer Hackathon submission deadline is August 31 at Midnight PDT, so get your submissions in soon! The prize pool is over 1 million BURST, and so far there have been only two entries.
  • Introducing The team behind Koh-i-noor diamond and Champions
    BlockPlay is a platform for Burst Smart Contract creators and developers. BlockPlay is the project and team behind Koh-i-noor diamond and their newest game called Champions. They are also the first to enter in the 2019 Burst Hackathon.
  • Gyra: A front-end tool for creating Scavenger configurations
    Community member feyd has released Gyra, a front-end tool for creating valid and logically consistent configurations for the Scavenger Proof of Capacity miner. It sports multiple setup options including Quick Setup, CPU-only, GPU-only, and Expert. This project has also been entered into the 2019 Burst Hackathon.
  • BURST Bratislava Meetup and Presentation on August 27!
    Burst Alliance members ohager and shefas will join forces in Bratislava, Slovakia on August 27 to discuss Proof of Capacity, use cases, Burst roadmap, and how to build cross-platform crypto applications.


BMF Weekly Funds Report
The BMF owns 5 accounts with the following balances:

All bounties can be found on the BMF trello
The BMF paid 45,000 BURST for refund of expenses and NDS-A.
The BMF received donations in the amount of 250,000 BURST.
The BMF50 Pool generated a weekly income around 6,000 BURST.
The pool has 54 miners and 1,457 estimated TB.

  • New BMF 0-100 Pool with 1% fee announced
    With the support from shadow (Discord) and his powerful infrastructure from his existing pools ( the BMF is proud to offera new 0-100 pool with a 1% fee, based on the new pool-software. Fees from this pool are earmarked for use in Burst marketing, development bounties, and other BMF-related activities.
