The Weekly Burst Report is produced under the flag of the Burst Alliance, a community-driven initiative comprised of developers and highly motivated Burst ambassadors. We welcome anyone to join us and show their support

  • Rosetta under heavy development
    Burst Apps Team member, nixpos aka Daniel Jones, confirmed his involvement with Rosetta on twitter. We are very excited about the introduction of Rosetta which includes improvements on Smart Contracts.

  • a small and easy burst wallet
    CurbShifter, of CloudBurst and BurstCoupon fame, created a light-weight version of the current BURST wallet for easy access to send and receive BURST. Check his article on reddit  or download his online wallet via He also created a how to video
  • New BURST explorer improvements
    Burst Apps Team member, Zoh, has been working non-stop on the new explorer for BURST. Besides multi-out support, he also introduced the beloved graphic of the BURST network, depicting its global distribution/decentralization. You can check the current status here :

Community Contributions

  • added Burstcoin added BURST to his shop for merchandising prodcuts.

  • Community Input Regarding Exchange Listings
    User u/ddaze7 started a discussion about getting BURST listed on different exchanges by crowdfunding the listing fees. Feel free to join the discussion on reddit. The BMF will follow the discussion closely and take its next steps from this community feedback.

    Are you a designer, graphic artist or just super creative! If so, follow the call from user SkipperBurst on reddit or join the discord server.
  • Why you should not hold your coins on an exchange!
    This says it all → article. We highly recommend keeping your coins somewhere other than on an exchange!

The BMF owns 3 account with the following balances:

  • Bounty Program Update
    New bounties have been added to the BMF-Trello board – and some of the previous bounties have been increased (YouTube Content Creation and BitcoinTalk Redesign).
  • New Bounty – BitcoinTalk Redesign
    The Bitcointalk page for Burst needs a make-over! ( Submit your designs via Google Doc in the comments for a chance to win this bounty. We urge you to utilize the same look/design as The winner will be selected by the BMF and rewarded up to a maximum of 2500 Burstcoin. to article)
  • New Bounty – Burst Wiki Translations
    Maintaining the Burst Wiki is vital to maintaining a strong and knowledgeable community. To continue to remain decentralized, it is also important that we make available translations of the wiki so the technical jargon can be easily understood by non-English speakers. This bounty will be awarded to individuals that provide translations of the burst wiki in languages other than English or those already available. The reward level will be determined by the BMF and will be based on the translation quality/quantity.
  • 5,000 BURST paid for Bounty – YouTube Content Creation
    The BMF is proud to announce a payment of 5,000 BURST on 02/08/2019 to CurbShifter [Payment Link] for his YouTube video tutorial on the light-weight Burst wallet,

    The title is a bit of a downer (Altcoin News: Is Everything Going to Zero?) but the content is positive for BURST which was mentioned as a Top 2 investment for Altcoins. Nice read!
  • NDS-Award for 09.02.2019
    For the first time since the introduction of NDS-Award, we have breached the 100 node operator barrier.We found in total 107 (+18) nodes running BRS 2.2.7 including a BURST-Account set as platform.We paid in this case to 30% of valid node-operators sorted by uptime. 34 node operators received the NDS-A while 2,000 BURST in total were distributed.
